I'm not a morning person...
so a quick and simple full coverage makeup routine is right up my alley. This is a routine I do every single day. This routine not only looks flawless but it lasts all day and doesn't make me look overdone. This process takes me no longer than 10 minutes using less than 10 products. It's perfect for the girl on the go!
First I start with ColorScience Total Eye - this product is great for preventative measures and the peach undertone is great for canceling out those nasty undereye bags in the morning. This product helps fight fine lines and wrinkles and doesn't mess with my concealer. It's pretty much like glue for my under eyes. Conceals, corrects, prevents and keeps everything in place all day.
Once my under eyes are finished I move onto the foundation. I'm known for mixing my foundations and my favorite at the moment are the Estee Lauder Double wear foundation in the shade - Honey Bronze (My winter shade) and the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation in the shade Tan. This foundation combo is perfect because you get sun protection, moisturizer and full coverage all in one. The double wear gives great coverage with a matte finish and since its a stay in place foundation, it keeps everything locked in all day. The It cosmetics is a multi-tasker with a beautiful dewy finish.
For concealer, I like to use the Too Faced Born this way multi-use concealer in Sand. A concealer with Hyaluronic acid in it is perfect for every day. I want something moisturizing under my eyes and this foundation looks so natural on the skin but still give great coverage, which I need. I like to use a concealer that's just a bit lighter than my natural face color. I don't like to go 2 shades lighter because I'm going for more of a natural look every day.
I set everything in place with the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder which is my tried and true setting powder. I use the Benefit Cosmetics ’Hello Flawless!’ Powder Foundation in the shade 'I'm Haute For Sure' all over my face. This powder is great because it gives additional coverage and you can build it up where you need it. I love using it to spot conceal any dark spots peeking through my foundation. Building up powder where I need it keeps me from looking cakey.
For Brows, I use the Covergirl Brow Pencil in Rich Brown. This pencil is super inexpensive and is one of my all-time favorite brow products! I wish they lasted a little longer but for the price its a great product if you are looking for a nice natural brow look.
I used the Morphe Setting spray all over my face. The continuous mist is perfect for the morning when I sometimes don't have the best hand strength.
I finish off my look with the Elf Lip Plumping gloss in the shade Mocha Twist. I've loved this gloss for about a year now. I have a bottle in every bag and since it's so affordable I don't feel bad if I lose it! It makes my lips look plump and polished and lasts all day without that nasty crusty lip line you get sometimes.
This look is simple and quick for the girl on the go or the girl who likes to hit snooze more than 10 times in the morning. Check out my full tutorial on this look below and leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
